help! Every time I go to blind cool tech, the web site and click on the link for the podcast that I want I get an error message that says, error 404 the page can not be loaded. However, when I click on the link for the faq, no problem their. I have tried this with both of my web browsers and my iphone and I get the same results so I assume that it is a web problem. When I did this 2 months ago or more I had no problems and I down loaded some podcasts on using voice over. So can any one tell me what to do to correct the problem? i am frustrated! Blind Cool Tefh is no more, it has been dead for about a year or so.
Are you sure? I just went to blind cool tech and it is still their but there are no new posts after 2012.
I am very sure. The files are probably gone, but the links aren't.
I think it depends on which files you want. Some of the more recent files are still there, but anything before a certain date appears to be gone. Kind of a shame, really.

It is a shame. Luckily, I did download a good bit of those podcasts when they were still around. I'm not sure if I have the ones you're talking about, though. From the way I understand it, many people have contacted the owner of that site and gotten no response. I'm guessing they don't want to be bothered with updating the links, or maybe the original files were lost.
It could also be that the original owner has passed away. I have no idea, but I'm fairly sure that he was an older guy. Lary Scutchan, I think his name was, since most of the first podcasts hosted were from him. It's entirely possible, if a touch unlikely, that if he's passed away or is otherwise unable to get to those files (or on a computer at all), it's all sort of a moot point.
I didn't see anything relating to his death, but it is possible. Maybe his work at APH is stopping him from working the site?
What happened is that this man works the American Printing house for the Blind and he has no time anymore for this website. So it's over about Blind Cool Tech. Anyways there is a new website very active in the same style.

Thanks! I will check out blind geek zone! I have blink radio. I don't understand why the site owner distroyed or lost the files. Oh well!
